Business start up costs and licenses

I build Custom Computers I have a couple of Product lines. Just local.
Working on possibly getting contracts with larger company for specialized builds. I Have Trade marked my Company name and I need a business license. Tax id and all that. It is based out of my home for now. i STARTED JUST BUILDING COMPUTERS FOR FRIENDS At no profit which then led to the demand for me to make money so I do have a question Are those coas considered start up costs. Yes you need to get the correct Business start up costs and licenses. These licenses are need to start your own business: a business license , seller's permit, fed tax id and a dba.
