In general, you need at least a business license and a dba. If you sell taxable items you may need a sellers permit. Hiring employees means you need to get a FEIN AND a SEIN EMPLOYER TAX ID NUMBERS.
To my opinion, I think limited liability company is better than corporation because it is less paper work. If there is a lawsuit in your corporation for example, you need to judge will require you to submit "minutes". Minutes means an official record of the meetings that your corporation held. As for LLC, you don't require to do that. AL
